The Chilean Plastics Pact (PCP, Pacto Chileno de los Plásticos) is an initiative led by Fundación Chile and the Ministry of the Environment, aimed at rethinking the way we currently produce, use and dispose of plastics, ensuring that this material continues to circulate in the system to avoid contaminating the environment.
Together with all the stakeholders in the value chain, including the public, private and civil sectors, it operates in a joint and articulated manner, generating collaboration and innovation to move towards a circular economy of plastics. Thus, from its scope of action, it promotes the enormous opportunity of creating value that is generated by this new approach, while addressing the prevention of problems resulting from the misuse of this key material.
