Roberto Icasuriaga

He has more than 20 years of experience in international business working for different markets in Latin America and the Caribbean, and more than 18 years working for Fortune Global 500 companies (3M and Microsoft).

Between 2007 and 2008 he worked as a Director of Business and Marketing for Microsoft in the Caribbean and Central America, managing Business, P & L and a team of people in nine different countries. In August 2008, he moved to Chile to become a Commercial Director in Chile. During the year of the crisis, the business grew five times faster than the market, multiplying Microsoft’s business four times in the country.

In 2010 he received the Microsoft Chairman Award, a distinction awarded to the 15 best employees in the world, being recognized as the best employee in Latin America. In August 2012 he accepted the position of Sales Director of Partners for Microsoft in Latin America and the Caribbean, based in Santiago de Chile.

In addition, he served as a Director of ACTI (Association of Information Technology Companies) for two periods and was elected Vice President of the same body between the years of 2013 and 2015.
