Roberto Icasuriaga

He has more than 20 years of experience in international businesses working for different markets in Latin America and the Caribbean, and over 18 years working for multinational Fortune 500 companies (3M and Microsoft).

Between 2007 and 2008 he worked as director of business and marketing for Microsoft in the Caribbean and Central America, managing business, P&L and a team of people in nine different countries. In August 2008 he moved to Chile to take the role of commercial director. During the year of the crisis, the business grew 5X faster than the market, multiplying Microsoft’s business in the country 4X.

In 2010 he received the Microsoft Chairman Award, a distinction awarded among the 15 best employees in the world, being recognised as the best employee in Latin America. In August 2012 he accepted the position of director of partner sales for Microsoft Latin America and the Caribbean, based in Santiago, Chile.

In addition, he served as director of ACTI (Association of Information Technology Companies) for two periods and was elected vice president of the same agency between 2013 and 2015.

The projects have real business foundations, either where technology is an enabler for a real business or a traditional one looking for a revolution or a new business model.
